As Mina and I hiked the Appalachain Trail, I tried to visualize evocative photographs of the summer in the woods, and this calm, cool, breezy glen presented itself to me at about 4pm, and the sunlight streaming through the woods just begged to be captured by my camera. (photo taken in August 2010)
