This is the sunset view as tourists pass through the 12 century Crusader fortress entrance after passing over a moat. Caesarea is a famous archaeological site on the Mediterranean coast of Israel where I lived and worked as an underwater archaeologist in the summer of 2000. This vacation was a homecoming of sorts.
