Similar to last week’s image, this is in the carved cave city of Petra, this time from the inside looking out. This one home had both a portal entrance and an extra opening above. The view out includes houses above the Petra Amphitheatre (concentric lines) built by the Nabateans with an eye toward Greek and Roman inspiration. (Photo taken in August 2011)
