i am a regular visitor to ur website and i need not say i love u photos they are excellent the light and the angle are cnat be more perfect i like the cacti reaching high into the sky and the golden sunlight and the sparse vegetation in the backdrop that gives the cacti prominence one thing i like most is the combination of azure blue and the orange i can make out the outline of a bird perched on top like a finger pointing to the sun

I wanted to try and capture the beauty of the desert here near my parents house in Scottsdale, Arizona (Outside of Phoenix). This weekend visit has included the most gorgeous light at sunset after rainstorms. Finally got a good few shots off today in their back yard of Saguaros capped by birds! (Photo taken February 20, 2011)

Hi Sam,
another great image! I like the contrast between the cacti and the cloud covered sky, it is very well defined. If only the stray light at the right bottom corner could have been avoided it’d have been perfect.
