Mina and I arrived in the gorgeous mountaintop medieval town of Erice in the afternoon, and after checking into a tiny suite at a renovated stone-walled hotel, walked all over the cobblestone streets, exploring and photographing. Suddenly after sunset, a thick fog rolled in. Everything became obscured, making our adventures more magical and mysterious. Then we found a park abutting a castle filled with lanterns and statues – now that was an awesome, spooky, and unforgettable walk!
