The Lemaire Channel is also called the “Kodakchrome Gap” because it is so beautiful to sail through and photograph the picturesque canyon walls on either side. We went trhough it twice, and both times it was overcast, but on the return trip we could see more of the mountain peaks, so from the top of the ship I shot a panorama and stitched 8 photographs together today to share this view of cruising in Antarctica. (photo taken in December 2009)
