When we arrived at Port Lockroy we were informed that a pair of chicks had been spotted the previous day! We watched patiently, hoping the parent would move and let us see them. Amazing, one parent came and replaced the other and began regurgitating food to feed their baby chicks! It was amazing. You can see both babies in this photo. (photo taken in December 2009)
