Evocative.
Governor’s Island is the small island at the tip of Manhattan where the dutch first settled and the American military has built forts and operated bases for hundreds of years, but has now been turned into an accessible public space with national monuments like Fort Jay and even tasty food trucks. Here’s my take on it. (Photograph Taken August 2015)

Sam, This isa wonderful portal. It goes so well in your ongoing series. If you said this was taken in London, I would believe you….it really looks old. And the lighting and colors are perfect.
