NIGHTLIFE: . . . . . . . . . The Man
These two images show the revelry after the man has burned and collapsed. People bring artwork and items of a personal nature to throw into the fire. This is a cleansing paganistic ritualized moment. With drumming sounds everywhere and cheers, after the man has falled, the crowd rushes toward the self-contained bonfire. They circumscribe the fire walking clockwise. (or in the case of this nude man, too close for comfort to the heat, running.)
Notice the same man's hat in both images, different moods in photographs taken within seconds of each other.
