Here is a red Japanese-style Torii gate, part of the Japanese-style temple this year. At sunrise one morning a huge procession of people wearing only white came to pay their respects to the newly completed temple.
I don't know what the meaning of the event was, and neither did one of the participants. They told me that it was an open event for anyone who wanted to attend.
