When conditions and time permitted, our tour included zodiac (inflatable outboard motorboats) cruises. On our second day in Antarctica, we encountered this beautiful iceberg that had been weathered into a window. Thinking of my portals collection, (http://doors.samoppenheim.com/) I begged the driver to bring us closer and he did! (photo taken in December 2009)
